Can I use Google Drive to collaborate with colleagues in other countries?

Google Drive is widely available in countries outside of North America, which makes international collaboration a real possibility. For instance, you can perform collaborative editing with a distributed team working in the U.S., Nigeria, Brazil, and The Netherlands.

However, Google Drive is not easily available to people in China and certain other countries, where national governments block or restrict Google services. There are workarounds, but they require extra steps and a certain degree of tech savvy.

Read Chapter 6 of Google Drive: The Rogue Manual to get up to speed on using Google Drive to collaborate with people in other countries.
